Playground is Open!

The new playground project for St. Mary's School was several years in the making. On August 21st, all of the planning and preparation finally came to a close as the brand new playground was blessed by Father Scott and opened to the children to begin to enjoy!  

Sunday, August 21st was a RAINY day.  On and off all morning long, the rain came.  I thought to myself, how are we even going to make this happen today?  Surely, we will have to postpone and open the playground another day... sigh :(  

Wouldn't you know the rain decided to hold off just in time for the playground blessing to take place and even give the kids enough time to get their first go at it.  I think we have someone up above to thank for that break in the weather. Thank you, Lord!   

It's only been about a week of school and already the playground is bringing smiles abound to the faces of our adorable students.  We are blessed!
