More Opportunities To Give

We are blessed by the support of our benefactors who make the mission of our school possible.

Service Opportunities

Students are a big part of the service St. Mary School provides to those in need.  Traditionally we decorate paper bags that will be filled with food from the Department on Aging for the seniors of Geauga County who receive home delivered meals.  The students make cards and collect candy for Veterans.  With money from dress down days, the student body supports non-profits like Autism Speaks and Knights of Columbus.  Students also support our sister school in Nicaragua by being pen-pals and sending Bibles. Many servers are St. Mary students.  Interested in becoming a server? Contact Deacon Peshek at [email protected]

Fr. Redmond Memorial Scholarship Fund

We are honored to be collecting donations in memory of Fr. Dan Redmond to provide a scholarship to support Catholic education. In December 2021, we met our goal to raise $25,000 to provide a $1,000 annual scholarship to a graduating 8th grade student at St. Mary School attending a Catholic High School. Future donations will continue to increase the interest-bearing principal in this fund. For every additional $25,000 raised, we will be able to offer another annual scholarship. Please read the updates below for more information.

All donors of $50 or more will receive a copy of a booklet highlighting the milestones of Father Redmond’s pastorate at our parish. You may well be surprised by all that happened during these years. All donors of $200 or more will receive a two-volume set of the written words of Father Redmond as they originally appeared in the weekly bulletins and Saint Mary Messengers. These works will be printed after it is determined the number needed of each.

If you would like to donate, you may do so through our
OSV online giving portal, or drop off your contribution in the collection basket or parish office marked with the memo "Fr. Redmond Scholarship." Thank you for your generosity!
